                                                   I was learning about telling the time
          I learnt that the small hand is the hour hand and the big hand is the minute hand.
          I know the when the minute hand is pointing to the six it is half-past time.
                                                   I learnt the hour hand is the mightiest hand.

         It was tricky to learn about inferences because you really had to think about it.

3D shapes

Reflection I was learning about 3D shapes. I know that 3D shapes are not flat. I learnt that vertices are another word for corners. It was easy to tell the difference between 3D and 2D because 3D shapes are not flat.

Friday surprise

Summarise

I know to find the main idea. I can use the main idea and keywords to summarise the text. It was tricky to read the pages because some words were tricky.

Instructions

 Reflection I was learning about instructions. I know all instructions start with a verb. I learnt that some instructions only in pictures not in words. It was very easy to write instructions because I know which order to put them in.

Fractions

Reflection. We are learning about fractions like half and quarters. I know that fractions are a part of a whole.

I was learning about recount writing. I learnt to put linking words in the right places. It was easy to unlock the words like who, where, when for the orientation sentence.

I tried my best at netball.

My favourite part of the term was shared lunch because their was a lot of yummy food.

Tens and ones

   

I was learning about tens and ones in numbers I know that 

the tens number comes first and ones number is last. I know 

that because we see it on the calendar everyday.

Making connections

Reflection  

I was learning to make a connection I learnt to think of what the story reminds me about. It was easy to make a connection because I listened and looked carefully as I was reading.
